💡 What: Replaced six ifelse function calls with preallocated vectors preserving attributes and logical subsetting in R/llcont.R.
🎯 Why: In R, ifelse fully evaluates both branches before subsetting. For casewise log-likelihood calculations involving exp and log, this leads to unnecessary and expensive computations.
📊 Impact: Improves execution speed for these likelihood functions by avoiding unnecessary expensive mathematical operations. Benchmarks indicate a ~30 percent improvement.
🔬 Measurement: Run the test suite to verify tests pass and use Sys.time to compare old and new functions on large dummy input data.

This is now the single consolidation path for the overlapping llcont vectorization PRs #51#70 and #73; those duplicate branches are closed. Before merge, this branch must add source-level numerical equivalence tests for binomial matrix responses (n == 0, scalar/vector weights, zero/negative effective totals) and each hurdle distribution, benchmark evidence without universal speedup claims, CHANGELOG/APA 7 doctoring, full R CMD check, and exact-head coverage/review evidence. Older branch checks do not transfer.
