This is the function used to produce analysis skims with various selections from the original SUSYNtuples. The skim is given in the simpleTree format, with additional variables in the eventVars tree indicating which event selection the event has passed. The function takes as an input the path to a configuration file. The example configuration is given in filter.cfg. The interface of the function is designed for use within the cmu job scheduler.
