Software development for me is a playground for crativity and problem solving, which is an arena I thrive in. I live and breath coding, and most of my time is spent infront of the keyboard creating obsessivly both for work and recreation. I genuinly think development is fun, and if anything, I have to force myself to do other things. In a nutshell I would describe myself as resourcefull, solution driven and not to mention dilligent.
Later I started expanding on my backend capabilities, more specifically, using proper database practices, cloud hosting, making and distributing installers for my software for my clients ease of use, user management and authentication, etc. Which then led to trying out simple frontend development, where I started to look deeper into design practices, SEO, desgin tools such as Adobe and Figma. Simultaneously I started moving away from these simple desktop UIs, over to mobile development with dart/flutter and then web development & hosting with React/Nextjs, tailwind, typescript, etc.
I have a compulsion for expanding my knowledge and recently I have started to learn tools such as; Docker for more practical reasons, and Unity, and Cobol for fun. My upcomming goals are; Cloud computing, automatization, game development, live data, security, but also look deeper into CI/CD and practical workflows.
As a freelance developer I have also worked closely with clients to define requirements and plan realistic development processes. This has made me well equiped to consult with clients both with technical competance or without, and it has given me valuable experience translating user needs into practical and maintainable technical solutions.
Don't hesitate to make contact if you have any questions regarding employment, my projects, or if you simple have any ideas for future projects, I'd love to hear them. I also implore you to explore my website at https://www.borgerod.no, which works as an interactive digital resume, where I showcase showwcase my projects, as well as my full-stack experience with dynamic layouts and component-driven design.
Now that that's said, take care and have fun creeping through my profile!
