Me too, but I could not discount that was just me not knowing how to patch my local system properly.

I modified both /homeassistant/www/community/GoogleFindMy-Card/googlefindmy-card.js and /homeassistant/www/community/GoogleFindMy-Card/googlefindmy-card.js.gz with the patch suggested and restarted HA.

This did the trick for me. Also update the .js.gz file.
