There is a difference in rendering on the playground and at AP.dev. When I click on a stone 2+ times, the playground shows the piece being promoted, while AP.dev does not. Everything else seems to work. I think the problem is around lines 323-329, but cannot find out why. I'm replacing
m !== ""with a more robustm.length > 0, but I don't think this is the problem.
