Definitely appreciate the editorial improvement. I know we discussed that this could be included in some form of editorial errata. If the group were to get to that point, I think it might be cleaner to add a new function (i.e. save_scaling_params()) that saves the information needed to perform the scaling function prediction and call it from Section 5.1 when i==0. This function could also include the storage of the Point*ValueRef[] and *Mult values. |
