inferring haploblocks within gametes or haploid offspring

Hello,

I was wondering if there was a way to use HAPI2 to infer haploblocks within haploid offspring from a diploid parent, or another way to looking at it the haploblock from a gamete of a diploid parent?

HAPI2 is designed for multi-child families.

For the problem you're describing, unless I'm misunderstanding, it doesn't seem like there's any information from which to determine which haplotype the parent transmitted. You'd need to do population-based phasing of the parent in order to try to figure out which haplotype the offspring inherited.
