fix gh-pages deployment

I don't know how it's configured, but I'd like it to ignore files I create. Can we deploy to gh-pages from a folder other than /?

For now, I switched it to deploy from the "Fall2023" branch. This will avoid error messages each time I commit, but it will be broken for @jlperla

For sure. You can pick whatever folder you want in the branch and I can jump dump the files there. I think you just change the "branch" and the folder from /root in https://github.com/ubcecon/ECON622/settings/pages
