testing: provide testing "tool" to validate that the transformation does what it is supposed to do.

During the knative meetup, Evan mentioned potential need to be able to test a transformation before actually using it to make sure that what you declared is what we want.

Not sure what we could do to provide some type of validation of the transformation but it is worth thinking about it .
