add Signer to F-Droid #16

Description

A year ago, the Tonkeeper team mentioned plans to publish the main app in the official F-Droid repository (https://t.me/tonkeeper_android/1084, https://t.me/tonkeeper_discuss_ru/243358, https://t.me/tonkeeper_discuss_ru/83677), but this still hasn’t happened.
I believe it’s possible, even though Tonkeeper has several Anti-Features such as Ads, Tethered Network Services, and possibly others. Some of them could be disabled by shipping a US/EU variant of the app for F-Droid.

However, Signer has minimal permissions and fully meets F-Droid’s requirements, so adding it should not be an issue.

Why?

  • Currently, F-Droid has only one TON wallet, and it hasn’t been updated for more than three years.
  • Increased user trust, which is important for an app like Signer.
  • More independence from Google Play Store and App Store.
  • A new audience.

You may also consider adding the app to the IzzyOnDroid F-Droid Repository, which has more relaxed requirements.

Still hoping to see the main app in F-Droid.
