+## Release process
+
+After this PR merges, trigger the **Stable Release**
+`workflow_dispatch` in `.github/workflows/release.yml` with `version`
+set to `0.1.43`. The workflow rewrites `pyproject.toml` itself, builds,
+and publishes to PyPI — no manual version bump on `main` is needed.
