Characters Missing Skills

RNG Seed: 1

When I used ALL Skills in the Skill Pool,
I'm not sure if the seed number is the problem but the output text files says characters should have certain skills and they sometimes have either no equip skills or some equip skills the original unit had.
I also have a randomized Corrin if that helps identify the cause.

Thanks for the report. To clarify - are you seeing missing skills after recruiting a character or does this only happen for alt appearances (ex. as a chapter boss)? Asking because these are handled separately so this helps narrow down the issue.

Looking at this now. Do you have specific characters where this issue occurs? It seems like skills are updated for global characters in the GameData file, so trying to figure out if this is an issue with route-specific characters or the game overriding character data.

It happens to all characters I recruit. The first example is Lucina who replaced Felicia, and the output log file says:
Name: Lucina
Replacing: Felicia
...
Personal Skill: Seal Strength
Equip Skills: ['Capture', 'Sweet Tooth']

She just doesn't have Capture or Sweet Tooth

Thanks! I was able to reproduce this. I'll update the issue once I have a root cause + fix.

Figured it out! The fix is in a90291d

There's an unmapped field in Skill data which seems to control where a skill cannot be equipped. Ignis will now clear this field so that the game won't interfere with randomized skills.

This should be fixed, but I'll leave this open until it's included in a release.
