Open index does not pass in correct path

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Navigate to the File/Lucene Index menu item
2. In the dialog, navigate to a directory
3. The selected directory is not always passed in correctly and usually points 
to some other (older or non-existent path)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?


What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Linux
java version "1.7.0_25"
