So, I just downloaded and launched Errata. During the onboarding sequence where it does initial setup of UI and API connection, my PC fans started going crazy. Checked task manager, and firefox was using 46% of my CPU. I have a Ryzen 7 7800x3d, for a browser to shoot usage that high and cause it to reach max clock is... unusual.
Closed and relaunched Errata, and reproduced behavior. CPU usage settles down when switching away from the tab, then spikes back up when switching back to it, so it really does seem to be Errata-related.
Not sure if there's some really heavyweight processing going on during that sequence, or if something is causing issues, but figured you may want to look into it. Once I got into the application proper, it did settle down and return to single-digit CPU usage without any odd spikes.
Windows 11
32 GB DDR5-6000
Ryzen 7 7800X3D
RTX 4070 Super
Firefox 151.0.2 (64-bit)
Errata 1.8.0
Let me know if you need more info.
