A recent poll on Discord shows 22% of responders use or prefer Linux, yet this alternative launcher is Windows-only.
Space Station 14 has been completely cross platform for as long as I'm aware. As I mentioned in this Discord thread, I'm rather disappointed to see that Starlight has released an alternative launcher that's tied exclusively to Windows. I understand that the launcher is optional, but given the reasoning behind developing a separate launcher was to address concerns about Wizden auth stability, this is a rather shaky definition of "optional" if Starlight ever needs to rely on this launcher exclusively.
I hope that Linux support is implemented sooner than the November timeframe mentioned in Discord. I'm willing to build and test branches for Linux support when available, if that helps at all.
