sourcegit is keep asking me for username and password to private git server, since updating this morning to latest release

sourcegit is cosntantly every few minutes asking me for the credentials of a private git server I have a project cloned to my local machine.
It starts doing this, after I updated to the latest release this morning.

Before it would not keep asking.

• Can you provide a screenshot to check if the ask-pass client is the builtin ask-pass dialog in SourceGit (only used for ssh) or git-credential-manager?
• Which protocol do you use for remote? HTTPS or SSH?
• Do you have git-credential-manager installed?

SourceGit does not store or read your credentials. Instead, it just tells git that use git-credential-manager to handle remote access (with -c credential.helper=manager). That means, if the server ask for access permissions, and git-credential-manager failed to provide a valid identity (or access-token), git-credential-manager will ask user to input a new one.

The built-in Askpass dialog in SourceGit is only used by ssh command. Usually, it will ask the passphrase of your private key (if it has one).

And which OS do you use? Windows/Linux/macOS?

I use Linux Mint (up-to-date version). I use sourcegit for years on this system. Never had this problem before with updating.

connecting via https to a gitea server. git-credentials-manager not installed. I did not need it before, the update.
