It would be great to make the lib asyncio compatible,
maybe by replacing requests by aiohttp.

Just a suggestion for the future,
but thanks already for the nice work done here!

I think httpx maybe choice, But recently I don't have enough time to do it. May need some time.

I needed it because you can't use it with FastAPI to upload an image from FastAPI, as the request from facebook for the image times out because of requests blocking things. #279
