Question about loop lag/delay

Not really an "issue." I have been using the DY-SV17F and it is doing a reasonable job for me. However, I would like to find a similar device that has less of a delay between playing a file in a loop. According to ChatGBT, the JQ6500-16P is virtually gapless.

Just to be clear, it isn't necessary that the device has no delay when playing different files. I only need gapless playback when a file is being repeated in a loop. I assume that the gap is minimized by using the internal memory and not the SD card.

Sorry I don't have one to test any more, but from memory I don't think it can do a gapless loop unfortunately.

That is disappointing. I guess ChatGBT didn't get it all right. I have a few coming. I will test them. Are you familiar with any other modules that might have better gapless characteristics? How does this module compare to the DY-SV17F if you have that experience? On the surface, the DY module seems better. It has more memory and I believe a higher power audio output.
