"Selected region is invalid" after adjusting scan area with Preview

Describe the bug

After making some adjustment with Preview, initiating a scan with my HP printer fails "due to an unknown error".

To Reproduce

1. Click "Preview" button
2. Wait for scanner
3. Click "Select scan region" button
4. Click and drag preview image by moving the mouse to the lower right, and release mouse
   • This should shift the scan region to the top left of the preview image
5. Click "Apply selection" button
6. Click "Scan"
7. Wait 30 seconds for the folder dialog box to appear, and then select save location (I chose "Ask every time" when it comes to the save location)
8. Observe the error in the lower left corner

Expected behavior

It should either

1. Not allow the scan region to shift out of bounds, or
2. Allow the scan to happen

Since scan area selection is getting a big upgrade in v4, I've put some safeguards in place to make sure the selected area is valid. Thanks for reporting this!

This can now be tested in the v4 preview.

• The selected region should be more reliably validated to prevent the app from requesting areas that are slightly too big
