With #394 we have some logic related to no longer supported options and updating sysand installation when it was installed in a no longer default directory etc.
We should drop this complexity in the future sometime, for example at a 0.2.0 release or 1.0.0 release, as it adds some complexity in a script that should be as simple as possible to review.
