Error while handling tag like '<c:Key.Columns></c:Key.Columns>'

I want to handle .pdm, the error occurred while the parser pase tag <c:Key.Columns></c:Key.Columns>.
I found that var m = match(/^<([\w+:]+)\s*/); may be the reason.
But i'm not sure that whether <c:Key.Columns></c:Key.Columns> is a standard format of xml.

I changed var m = match(/^<([\w+:]+)\s*/); to var m = match(/^<([\w+:.]+)\s*/);, and match(/^<\/[\w:]+>\s*/); to match(/^<\/[\w:.]+>\s*/);, then it worked well.
