Maybe we can get the browser to grab a few, and if they are all images show the picture grid? Or use AJAX and then get the headers?

Zarino has fixed this by adding ?type=.gif to the URLs! Which is funky.

Maybe that is good enough... It's definitely an enhancement request now. And likely one that needs platform decision of how we handle this.
