Describe the bug
DaemonBite arcade encoder is not recognized at all

It works fine on Mister. Its also recognized in Windows (d-input) and some steam games (although its a little buggy with modern x-input ones).

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Plug in a daemonbite controller
2. Its not recognized

Expected behavior
DaemonBite is expected to work as a USB controller

Setup:

DId you try mapping the same? is it even visible in system > input menu?

Its not even visible in the system > input. I had tried to make a mapping but I've never done it before, and the software I found on the SDL (?) github didn't seem to make something that worked.

I ended up buying a Pi Pico and flashing GP2040 on it and swapping that into my stick. I had went with the daemonbite because I thought it was cheaper and faster but I didn't realize the GP2040 if you DIY it was nearly as cheap.

Someone in discord had mentioned they had a mapping at some point but they didn't reply with the file.

you can check if the device is really detected by linux connecting via ssh and executing evtest command.
A list of the connected devices will appear, and pressing the corresponding number, you can start testing the same.
