Running GameStringer on Linux

Just installed GameStringer v1.4.1 on my Ubuntu 24.04 setup and it works great!

Installation

Downloaded the .deb package from the releases page:

sudo dpkg -i GameStringer_1.4.1_amd64.deb

What works:

• All translation features
• File patching (RPG Maker, Ren'Py, Godot, etc.)
• AI providers (OpenAI, Claude, DeepL, Ollama)
• Translation Memory
• Danganronpa WAD Patcher
• Full i18n UI

What does NOT work (Windows-only):

• Memory injection for live translation
• WinRT OCR screen capture
• Some Unity/Unreal injectors

Performance:

Smooth and responsive. The Tauri + WebView2 combo works well on Linux.

Anyone else running it on Linux? What distro?
