Support for raw DNG export

Are there plans to support raw DNG export, so we can convert the negatives in NegPy or other converter?

yeah ok, we can do that for the next release. the capture path already keeps the full 16 bit per channel data plus the IR plane (with receipts for how it was read) so this is an export problem not a capture problem. itll be a linear DNG since the sensor is a trilinear CCD, theres no bayer mosaic to preserve. that gives NegPy or whatever converter the untouched negative to work from.

one question so i get the format right the first time: IR plane inside the DNG or as a separate file next to it?

Can we have linear tiff support as well, with ir as a 4th channel or baked in as options? DNG has some disadvantages.

I would prefer the IR separately. I think no converter can deal with it. Am I right?

Negpy deals with both. But yes, having it separate 3+1 is also a good idea.

Having the option to have ice applied to the raw data is also nice. You are not going to do a lot better than ice is anyway.
