Hardware and OS testing matrix — where ScanStudio needs help

ScanStudio has been validated end to end on exactly one setup: one Apple Silicon Mac and one LS-5000 over USB. Everything else is built and package-tested but unproven against real hardware. Each row below has its own issue containing the complete, exact steps for that setup — commands included, nothing waits on further instructions. Most take minutes.

General notes

• All builds are prerelease. macOS packages are ad-hoc signed; the documented first-launch approval applies.
• When something fails, paste the in-app error report — it carries the diagnostics that make a report actionable.
• The scanner moves film during previews and scans. Stay nearby.
