Problem Statement
Teachers often conduct recurring lectures with the same polls, settings, or session configuration. Currently, they must recreate everything from scratch, which is repetitive and time-consuming.
Proposed Solution
Add a Duplicate Session option that creates a new lecture using the configuration of an existing one.
The duplicated session should copy:
- Lecture title
- Polls
- Session settings
The new session should receive:
- A new session ID/code
- Empty analytics and attendance data
Alternative Approaches
Teachers could manually recreate each lecture, but this is inefficient and increases the chances of configuration mistakes.
Affected Area
Mockups / Additional Context
A Duplicate button can be placed alongside existing session actions. Selecting it should instantly create a new editable session using the previous configuration while resetting all participant data.
