Insert Picture Properties and change it to Top and Bottom

I'm adding several pictures of different sizes. After inserting the pictures, the spacing between them and the preceding and following paragraphs is quite large. I noticed that the inserted pictures are embedded type. Is there any way to modify them to the Top and Bottom type? Thank you. Insert Picture Properties and change it to Top and Bottom

Show the code you're using to insert the pictures. Just the lines where you're actually adding the pictures.
