Doesn't render on XML and setting custom colors also doesn't work

1. Doesnt render on the layout at all. Tried with ConstraintLayout and framelayout as parent
2. Setting custom colors on header in the dialog, the color is not replaced but rather a mix of the existing background and the new color.
