ALTER EXTENSION plrust UPDATE error

Hello, we recently updated our plrust version from v1.0.0 to latest release. However, I am getting the following when trying to update the extension version to 1.1:

> ALTER EXTENSION plrust UPDATE;
ERROR:  extension "plrust" has no update path from version "1.0" to version "1.1"
SQL state: 22023

Any help/pointers would be appreciated!

Update: had to manually copy the SQL migration file into the postgres migration file folder. Not sure why this wasn't handled automatically during the build/install process.
