Project future

This project looks really awesome! But seems to be abandoned? Does TCDI have a plan for the future of this project? Or should it perhaps be forked/moved to a development group/foundation (like was done with pgrx)?

I too am also interested in this project and its future, I stumbled across it at I noticed it was supported by AWS RDS and compiled rust makes infinitely more sense for stored procedures / functions.

However I'm having quite a nightmare getting it working in docker but I really want it to work!

Same. I came across it due to AWS RDS and had the nightmare of having it in a docker, but I could make it by compiling the project.

If this project has been abandoned it would be nice to at least update the readme with this info and set the repo in archive mode.

Ah, it's been more than a year and I suspect the NDA wouldn't cover this anyway, so I can probably explain. TCDI laid us all off - they cut the entire Rust team in mid-late 2024.

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you all faired well after the layoffs. We all appreciate you providing an update here as well as it's been radio silence otherwise.
