Fails on npm install on Windows7

Windows7, npm 1.4.9, using either git clone or from zip file: I get

This looks like this comes from substack/falafel's package json.
In falafel/node_modules/esprima package.json, we find

I get a lot more errors. also React is at v0.10.0
