Match Colors for annotations and maybe filtering them.

It world be great to be able to set the different colors according to how they look in Koreader. At the moment they look different for me.

I guess the Problem is caused because i set custom colors for the markings in.

In addition it would be neat to be able to filter them according to their color(categorie)

Not sure what you mean do you want a feature to remap for example yellow to purple? Since KOReader stores the colours name in the sidecar.

Yes to define a color for each “color name” in the file.
This “color names” are not all colors for me.

And filtering so I can see only markings with one of this “color names”

what else does KOReader store for you as a value? And are you using a patch / plugin for that?

i use this patch:

When i customized it, i was using other words instead of colors.

I fear removing this could lead to problems:

WARNING: Removing a color you have used in any books will cause KOReader to crash if you open to that highlight.

And you changed the names in ReaderHighlight.highlight_colors or in BlitBuffer.HIGHLIGHT_COLORS?

I changed it in BlitBuffer.HIGHLIGHT_COLORS, that’s also what I see in the file with the markings in the sdr folder

Okay I am not 100% sure I want to support this yet as its quite an edge case and not an official KOReader feature 🙈

For unknown values it now shows a rainbow in the next release.😅
