State of the project

@paulober wondering if you're still involved in maintaining / developing this project further, given that the last version is from Nov 2025 and last commits are 7-9 months old.

I'm grateful for all your work in making this extension but just wondering what future it might have, especially since recently my experience with reliability of connecting / uploading is pretty terrible and I assume there is a lot work in making it reliable at least on mac os platform it seems...

The project is still maintained and just didn't get updates because of time constraints and I didn't find any mayor issues that could be traced back to a bug in the extension other than some smaller things reported that I started working on but just did not have the time to release.

MacOS (arm64) is one of the mayor systems the extension is tested on and I never encountered any stability issues there. If you use x86 MacOS or an older version I will not be able to provide support for that.

But if you have any specific issues on macOS you found than feel free to open issues for them and I'll see what I can do.
