crash during upload of large project #334

Please provide a clear and concise description of the bug along with logs

upload fails on large projects

What are the steps to reproduce this issue?

  1. get a seeed xiao RP2350
  2. clone repo at https://gitlab.sxpert.org/embedded/micropython/home-automation/nanoserver.git
  3. attempt to upload project

What happens?

at some point in the upload, micropico hangs, possibly errors out, is unsure of the contents on the pico and the pico eventually crashes, needing to be nuked and reflashed

What were you expecting to happen?

some sort of "out of space" error

Any logs, error output, etc?

(To get extension logs see Terminal > Output > Extension Host and copy output concerning pico-w-go or micropico)
