The engine is missing a lot currently, will appreciate anyone giving ideas on what is missing and to add (with images and best video if possible!). Feel free to comment here or open a new issue.

i got a quite a bit of people askin for this before, done. well it's possible before, but not many people know how so added an easier way xd.

Here are a few suggestions that I think would improve the workflow:

• Allow renaming tracks. This would make projects much easier to organize and remember.
• Improve copy/paste behavior. It would be really useful if copied items could be pasted based on the current timeline/scroller position.
• Make Ctrl + Scroll work anywhere on the timeline. Right now, scaling the entire timeline only works at the very beginning. It would be much more convenient if it worked regardless of where you're currently viewing.
• Support multi-selection. Being able to select multiple items at once and copy/paste them together would save a lot of time. (Maybe a shortcut could be Shift + Drag Mouse?)
• Increase the size of trigger buttons. Things like sprite animation triggers or other events that don't have a duration are difficult to click because they're so small. Making them larger (or increasing their clickable area) would make editing much easier.
• Being able to toggle alignment, sometimes it interferes whenever I want to place a sprite when it snaps its position aligning with another frame. (Maybe add a shortcut for it?)
• Snap to grid, being able to time an animation exactly every second or half a second.

(I was thinking on having a similar UI function to BandLab or any music editing software)

Oh and another thing is that making the Menu and Auto buttons actually interactable will just add in more detail, like the Auto button can actually activate and automatically play the entire scene and the menu button can have a popup gui (that doesn't actually do anything, but its just for extra detail)

Here are a few suggestions that I think would improve the workflow:

Those are in fact what I been working on for the past months (#16), still haven't exactly decide on an UI choice, but it will allow all that you said and other features, and the UI will looks somewhat like Blender video editor UI (altho I've been indecisive so there isn't much progress being made)

Not sure how I'd do that, after all they still need to show the actual length duration of the object, but eventually the new scaling system will makes it easier.

The main problem is that for how long should each "grid" parts snap to, like second/half a second is a little bit too big of a value, most video editor will snaps by frame but the current engine implement don't allow that, it doesn't knows the (fps) that you're rendering at, it will just try to render the best it could (altho vsync is enabled).
