I thought I was going crazy, like I was being gas lit by google--directing me to irrelevant reddit threads and in depth instructions on how to turn of x setting in the intel gpu control panel. I'd go back to the panel thinking there must be something I missed.

Strangely enough chatgpt (o3 with search) found either this directly or a blog it was connected to.

Same here! All those non-existent settings people were talking about, and the useless registry fixes, it was driving me crazy. Now my laptop's screen won't drive me crazy.
