Besu fails to start due to deprecated parameter

scripts/start-ec.sh uses --fast-sync-min-peers which Besu removed a while ago. This leads to the latest version of Besu failing to start.

The same script does

            fi  

This is tricky. That is correct to prune a full node done to expired, which takes about 48 hours.

Besu team do not recommend running this parameter on an expired DB as a matter of course.
