[hassio][BUG] Error while loading entities list

Bug description

My symptoms are the same as #218. Loading the entities list does not work. I haven't been able to use the plugin at all as a result of this.

Please let me know if there are any further details I can share.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open hassio panel
2. Click entities icon
3. Observe that entities fail to load

Expected behavior

Entities should appear and I should be able to select from them

Actual behavior

An error appears

I already have a potential fix made, just can't test it against my live home assistant instance due to some maintenance on my home server.
