First of all, thanks for the really cool project — I’ve been setting up a Mural plotter and it’s been fun to build. I’m currently running into a problem during the belt calibration step. I can successfully retract both belts until the motors stall, and then I press “motor belts are retracted” in the UI. After that, the browser often shows a “command failed” error, although sometimes it continues without showing the error. In both cases, when I press “extend belts”, the belts only extended to about ~40 cm. It happened that sometimes it does not extend at all. In my setup the distance between the two wall screws is 128 cm, so the belts don’t extend far enough for me to actually hook them onto the screws, which means I can’t finish the calibration. The retract step itself seems to work fine, so I’m wondering if the belt extension during this step is supposed to depend on the configured pin distance, or if something might be failing in the calibration sequence after confirming the belts are fully retracted.
