segmentation fault when running with in a resque worker

on my Rails application cupsffi works perfectly fine but when I set up resque to create workers, for printing, cupsffi gem crashes with a segmentation fault. Here is the output: http://pastie.org/2399866

Can anyone at least point me in the right direction? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've been unable to duplicate this segfault locally (I'm running 1.4.4). What version of cups are you using?

Cups 1.5.0 works fine here with 1.9.2-p180 (same version you appear to be running from your pastie).

It appears from the stack trace that the segfault is happening when FFI calls ffi_call_unix64. What version of FFI are you using? Also, can you confirm that you're using OS X 10.7?
