Phase 3: Design + order custom PCB (Wattplot Controller v1)

Goal

Take the breadboard prototype to a custom PCB (JLCPCB fab + assembly).

Scope

• Finalize schematic in SKiDL (Python) for reproducibility
• Layout in KiCad, 100x80mm 2-layer board
• Order 5 prototype boards from JLCPCB (~)
• SMT assembly, hand-solder any through-hole parts
• Port firmware from breadboard to PCB
• Validate in same outdoor test as Phase 2

Done when

5 boards assembled, 1 deployed and surviving Phoenix weather for 1 month.

Design done in dd3ab28. Spec is in \docs/pcb_design.md\ — 50x70mm 2-layer, ESP32-WROOM-32 + DRV8871 + BMI160 + INA219 + DS18B20 + DPS5005 UART + relay. Component BOM ~/board, JLCPCB fab \ for 5pcs. Hand it to KiCad / EasyEDA and order.

Next step (your action): spin the board, get 5 PCBs from JLCPCB (~2 weeks), assemble, then update \docs/test_checklist.md\ Phase A results.
