Plugin won't show up under tools

Hey,

Found this project which exactly fits my needs but I can't get it to work.
I imported the plugin to GIMP by downloading the file script-fu-slice-ingress-banner.scm to ~/.config/GIMP/2.10/plug-ins and restarted GIMP but it does not show up in Tools as described in the README.md.
I am by no means an expert in GIMP plugins so I don't really know where to start with debugging.
I am running GIMP 2.10.18.

Check in Gimp settings where the directories are located and if the one you use is set up correctly. It may be different depending on your Gimp history and distribution.
