What happened
- Create empty folder
- Open folder with negpy
- Activate hot folder
- Perform a few scans with the builtin pieusb backend, with the open folder selected as a destination and
{{ date }}_{{ "%03d" % seq }} as a filename
After a few scans, corrupted thumbnails started showing up (see screenshot). Ther names were something like tmp plus some random characters, plus .tiff
One of the scans kept this tmp... name and generated no IR sidecar. The other scans were fine, corresponded to the name template and had the IR sidecar. I then decided to rescan the tmp... image, which got the correct date and sequence name and IR sidecar.
Then, I restarted NegPy and the corrupted thumbnails were gone. Though, now the tmp... image got assigned a name, but instead of getting today's date and increased sequence number, it got the same seq number as the last (re-)scanned picture, but tomorrow's date.
