This extension connects Gemini CLI to the AlphaAI MCP server at https://mcp.alphai.io/mcp. AlphaAI is a financial news feed built for AI agents: every article is pre-analyzed at ingest with per-ticker impact, one of 14 categories, and a 1-10 relevance score. SEC Form 4 insider filings are ingested as structured news events minutes after they reach EDGAR.
The server uses OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration. Gemini CLI opens a browser to authorize when the server connects. There is no API key to configure. The free tier allows 20 requests per minute and 100 requests per day, with no card required. Paid plans raise those limits (https://alphai.io/pricing).
