Static and droplet Fe Kα/Kβ XES for the ferricyanide/ferrocyanide redox series.

Analysis delivered

  • Static XES pipeline (experiments/mfx102101026/mfx102101026_static_xes.yaml) on epix100_0 with import-time row_range crop, hitfinding min_sum, ferricyanide ROIs, von Hamos energy axes.
  • Notebooks: visualization, aggregate, ferricyanide (Fe³⁺) reference builder, run-9 baseline/speciation, non-expert speciation_simple (with eLog beamline-summary posting), and droplet visualization.
  • Droplet-reconstructed XES workflow (mfx102101026_droplet_recon_xes.yaml) using the native droplet_reconstruction step.
  • XSpect engine additions used here: import-time detector row_range crop (+ auto ROI offset translation), hitfinding min_sum, logging/enable_logging.

Tracked issues for this experiment:

Operational notes

  • ePix100 common-mode gotcha resolved (do not pass cmpars tuple → psana 3D-index crash on 2D frames).
  • Runs 4/5/8 had no beam (excluded); run 9 first 30 Hz run.
