Adding flight tracks, straight lines between points

The bug

Normally, Airtrail draws arcs between airports that track the curvature of the earth. Or, in globe view, it draws straight lines across the surface of the globe.

However, when adding track data for a flight, which consists of points along the flight path, Airtrail draws straight "flat earth" lines between each of these points.

Here's an extreme example when I recently flew over the North Pole. First screenshot is from the flat view. Notice the straight lines:

Here's what this looks like on the round globe:

Yeah, not a globe-aware straight line at all.

How did you managed to add the track data for the flight? I'm new to the app, and just installed so as to have this part working together with Dawarich
