Hi there - that's a SD card failure. The app doesn't run until after the logo has gone. Can you send me an email with your address to oliver@or-innovation.com and I'll get a new one out to you. |

Hi Oliver. This will be my 3rd sd card. The original and you also sent me one a few weeks ago.
Before you send another one, I put the original sd card back in & it got to the update/reboot screen but when it says visit jetclock.local my wifi network does not appear in the list(Pictures attached) although it has appeared previously.
SKYNB3RJ is mine. Im wondering on the jetclock, why it says "Connected/No internet access"?
Thank you.

Ive just got it back on. How i dont know but something has worked.
Are other people having issues or just me?
I read up on disabling 5ghz but that would slow down my broadband so i havnt done that. What are other people doing?
I have a feeling it will happen again.
My other issues when it is working is...1 Pictures of aircraft. Most of them are all white & not showing their livery eg Ryanair, Easyjet, Jet2, AerLingus, BA etc all the common airlines2. I have the notification set at 1 minute but the screen does not show the aircraft for 1 minute, it goes back to the clock screen.3. Sometimes aircraft are right above my house & it doesnt pick it up and i know my altitude settings mean it should do.
Sorry for the long message but its frustrating.
Martin.

Hi Martin Sorry you're experiencing issues. JetClock uses a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W which unfortunately only works with 2.4GHz networks, which would explain why you are experiencing disconnects. Best way to deal with this is to split the mixed network into a 5/2.4. On the pictures of aircraft, the technical images have 97%+ coverage of aircraft type. Am in the process of creating liveries for all of these too, but it takes time and coverage will improve over time. For the notification, if the aircraft moves out of range before the notification time limit it will hide. Can I suggest making your radius bigger / relaxing altitude settings? And on coverage if you spot planes that are not picked up please do share them - it should pick up all aircraft that meet your filters. Thanks |

Like @setchy my clock is also stuck on the jetclock logo since the update and has been like this for the last month. The hotspot doesnt appear on my wifi settings either.
