Thanks for all your hard work on the update. A few questions:

• The option to show numbers on the analog clock face seems to no longer work. I have it set to off, yet the numbers are always displayed. Toggling/restarting makes no difference.

• Previously there was the option to show the destination if the origin was close by. Is this no longer possible? I’m under both LHR and LCY flight paths. Previously departing LCY flights would show the destination instead of origin, but now I just get ‘London’

• The maximum text size seems to have greatly reduced? Even with minimal info on the notification screen and text size set to 150% it is greatly reduced from the previous version.

For the past week or so, the Smart Origin slot seems to not be working, for every flight it just shows the IATA code for the destination.

Additionally, since the same time, the JetClock freezes frequently and at least once a day fully locks needing to be unplugged for it to start working again. Are these known issues that will be fixed in a future update?

Hi, yes am aware of the freezing issue and have been extensively debugging & testing. Fixes have been pushed so the clock should be back to normal over the next few days. Am very sorry for the disruption and do let me know if it doesn't improve.

I'm not aware of the Smart origin slot issue - will look into it now and push a fix.

Thanks for all the feedback. A v1.071 should be live on all clocks shortly including:

New Slot Options

• Added "Smart Origin" slot that intelligently switches between origin/destination
  based on distance (shows destination when <50km from origin)
• Added "Distance Traveled" slot showing distance from origin airport
• Added "Distance to Destination" slot showing remaining distance to destination
• Added streamlined airport display slots with scrolling full name and airport code
• Added combined data slots (heading with distance, aircraft image with flight
  number, speed/altitude together)

Bug Fixes

• Fixed analog clock "Show Numbers" toggle not working - numbers now correctly hide
  when disabled
• Fixed notification text size being too small - 150% text size now displays at
  expected larger size
• Fixed altitude readings not dropping to ground level - now correctly shows
  near-zero values
• Fixed preset view navigation - can now drag to scroll through available layouts
• Fixed an issue where notifications for aircraft which were not technically the “nearest” aircraft didn’t get a photo URL

Great update BTW. !
However there was a previous feature that I really enjoyed which was a compacted view of
the Origin -> desitination and I feel like it will look great on the new grid layout.
would it be possible to reinstate it in the list of options ?

For example this was my previous setup :

here you could see

• ORY --> YUL. ( Option 1 )
• Paris to Montreal ( Option 2 )

2 different ways of showing the origin and destination

With the new grid system. I can totally see this information fitting into one of the bigger boxes as a highlight
for example here we could replace the space with the airplane, with the Origin --> destination combo :

instead of having just the origin like in this example :

It could also be interesting to have an Option 3 where we combine the City names and the Airport IATA Code all in one box

Struggling a bit with the new update. Can’t recreate my old screen and liked having smaller and larger font info on the screen (see my reply to one of the messages above to the person who had the same screen setup as us previously).

Find the scrolling info hard to read as would prefer to see the info completely. Photo of the best I can get it to is attached.

In our room Jet Clock lives next to the tv and new update means we struggle to see the info from a normal viewing distance, it’s only really useful if it’s a desk clock rather than something the whole family enjoyed.

Sorry, just a bit sad as it was perfect (for us) the way it was and we were really enjoying it but can’t see how it will be possible with the new update. On a bigger form factor, all the added info would be great but on something this small, for us simpler was better, and was perfect

Also seems to be times when on some displays, the planes don’t show? We won’t really use the photo options but it seemed a bit glitchy? See photo

I've created a new blank view called Mixed Rows and a new preset called Route Focus which looks like this:

On the clock with real data looks something like this:

The font size should apply to all those slots helping with readability and all can be swapped/changed if you fancy different data in there. Just pushed the update to all clocks so should be live on yours in the next 3-4 hours or if you reboot it then will be live straight away.

Let me know if this view meets the need, happy to made adaptations where required!

The Speed / Altitude / Distance composite block can also be use elsewhere so could be used with an image etc, up to you

This is great thank you so much. It looks just like the original and we can see the info we enjoy clearly again.

One additional thing to ask/request. Can the notification duration be longer? We have it set at 1 min but it feels really quick when it flicks back to clock

Really appreciate this change, thank you! The scrolling has definitely reduced, the odd Route Code at 150% still scrolls so I've bumped it down to 145% and its golden. 👌

Sounds crazy that I had to bump it up so much, but I really struggled with the readability since the system wide change. I can't even remember what the max font size was before the update? But it was clear as day. Totally understand the change though, as there's more complications to fit in etc.

That's brilliant. Let me know if there are other areas of the app where the readability has got worse. I'm hoping that these additional views will help a lot. The default font size before was 120% I think. I'll continue to benchmark against the previous views to make sure nothing has been missed

Analog Clock Fixes & Customisation

Fixed a crash that would occur after the analog clock had been running for some time. Also added more customisation options including the ability to toggle ticks and the second hand on/off.

Aircraft Photos

Brought back the option to display a photo of the aircraft.

New Views & Presets

Added a new blank view called Mixed Rows and a new preset called Route Focus. Thanks to @peekaboo123454321 and @fbrkt for bearing with me on this! Font size applies across all slots to help with readability, and all slots can be swapped out if you'd prefer different data.

Minimal Screen View

Added a minimal display mode showing a full bleed aircraft image with basic routing data.
